Andres Baron

I am a civil engineer currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Construction Management and Engineering at Eindhoven University of Technology. With experience in both research and industry, I have gained a well-rounded perspective on the field.

In my research work, I have focused on the sustainability of water supply systems and the impacts of land use on the hydrological cycle, with a particular focus on rural areas characterized by a scarcity of data where participatory approaches and community engagement are crucial for the success of the projects.

In industry, I have experience in the construction field, where I have been responsible for overseeing projects from conception to completion, including tasks such as planning, scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating activities with contractors and other stakeholders. I have also worked as a designer of water supply and sanitary networks, as well as a CAD modeler for building and infrastructure projects.

I am passionate about innovation in the built environment and data management. I believe that the construction industry has potential for transformation through the use of digital technologies, industrialized construction, and circular practices.
